You are invited to attend a presentation by Star Chen, on Sunday,
December 10, 2006, from 4:10 PM - 5:15 PM, in the music room.

Topic - How to teach Mandarin through use of classroom strategies,
activities and body language.

Star Chen, originally from Beijing, is currently the Chinese language
teacher at Belmont High School, in Belmont, MA, where she has worked for
three years. Prior to this, Star was a public relations executive at
Edelman Public Relations Beijing Office. Before that, Star worked as an
editor with Internet Securities Inc. and as a marketing manager at
SinoFile Information Services. The Chinese program at Belmont has grown
from 40 students in high school to 200 students in both high school and
middle school within three years.

Star Chen received her M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communication from
Emerson College in Boston.
